Network Marketing Success Tip – Have you defined your market?

Marketing is all about targeting the right people for your product or service, in Network Marketing it is often said that everyone is your market, I disagree with that and I will tell you why.

When defining a particular market you would look at numerous key factors, maybe age, gender, socio economic background, education level, lifestyle, physical attributes, geographic location it would all depend on the product or service you are marketing how you define that.

In network marketing we are looking for people who have particular attributes, we are looking for people who first and foremost have a can do attitude and have an open mind and are willing to learn, do and teach what they need to do to create their success in the Network Marketing industry.

So if I were to ask you right now what type of people are you looking for what would your response be? Would you need time to think about it or do you have that profile so ingrained in your mind that you would spot a likely candidate from a mile away?

It is important to really work out what type of people you want to work with after all you really do have an obligation to the people you bring into your team to work with them and teach them what they need to know, so if you are bringing in people who have a mindset that is always telling you what’s wrong and how difficult things are, are you going to be able to devote enough time to helping them overcome their own negative attitude where you are right now?

I love the Network Marketing industry and the opportunity it provides everyone to create a better lifestyle and I have to tell you in order to help people you have to start with people who are clearly ready to help themselves. These are people who are open minded and more success oriented they are people who want to learn and grow and who maybe are a little nervous about doing some things but are willing to give it a go and do it anyway.

To effectively build a successful Network Marketing team you need to make sure the members of your team are open to being successful and who want more than they currently have, and they are willing to do something about it! These types of people have certain characteristics, get about and about and talk to as many people as you can, (not to pitch your business!) to establish what type of people you want on your team. You can spend a day in shopping mall going into stores and talking to sales staff and even just talking to people you meet at a coffee shop or in a lunch bar. Listen to the way they talk about general everyday subjects you will soon see the ones you would like to work with make a note of what it is in particular you sensed or felt and create your profile from the list you end up with at the end of the day.  You can even talk with the people you work with, if you are a working person, what are the characteristics of the people you like working with? These will provide you with invaluable insight into what you are looking for.

To attract the right market to you, you must know what you are looking for. Because if you don’t you won’t know them when you meet them, or you may attract so many of the wrong market that you have so much of your time taken up working with the wrong people you don’t have time to look for the right ones.

To attract the right market you must know who your market is!
