Ever had a situation where you have talked to someone about your business and they have told you it’s not for them and then a few months later you run into them you ask how they are and what they are doing with themselves and they tell you that they have joined a different network marketing company with someone else?
So you ask what was about this company that made you decide to join them and they tell you they loved the way the pay plan was structured and they were really impressed with the growth rate of the company.
You respond by saying, I am really pleased for you that you have joined the Industry, but I am disappointed, of course, that you didn’t join my company do you mind telling me what it was about my business or presentation that didn’t inspire you to join us?
From the feedback they give you they tell you they didn’t really see how they could create a huge income so it didn’t really appeal to them. Any way it really was just that this other company has had such great results I can see how I can build a huge income and the training and support they provide is amazing.
When you hear this you are a little confused, because really you provided all of these things with your Network Marketing opportunity so you leave wondering why they didn’t join you instead of this other company, then you think well it must be me maybe I am doing it wrong.
Just hang in there it isn’t that you are doing it wrong but it may be that you need to develop your skills in understanding how different people hear what you say.
Simply put, there are a number of different personality types who all communicate slightly differently so over the next few days I am going to give you a brief overview of the personality types and how you can best communicate with them.
Just remember Network Marketing is all about relationships and building strong relationships is all about great communication so to make sure we get the best results from our relationships and our business it makes sense to be the best communicators we can be doesn’t it?
